Exterior and Interior
As one would expect from a sport-utility, the RX’s proportions make it easy to enter and exit the vehicle. The Black Line Edition’s black-and-white upholstery color choice is about the only thing that isn’t really functional. The white borders on the console and seat make it easy to see dirt, despite its gorgeousness.
With its wide opening, the cargo compartment is perfect for storing all of your belongings. With the chairs upright, it can hold 453 liters of liquid, and when folded flat, it can hold 924 liters of space. You receive a large console box with a detachable liner, but the console itself doesn’t have much space for little items. Up to 1,588 kilograms (3,500 lb) can be towed by the RX in the event that you have an excess of cargo inside.
Along with its advanced safety features, the RX comes standard with a motorized tailgate, an eight-inch touchscreen that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a rearview mirror that automatically dims, front seats that are heated and ventilated, automatic temperature control with two zones, and a cargo net and cover.
Automatic headlight leveling, LED exterior lighting, automatic air recirculation, a 12.3-inch center touchscreen, and additional connectivity features like embedded navigation with destination assist, safety and service connections, mobile apps, and more are all part of the Black Line Edition. The majority of these features are available on a three-year trial.

Engine and Performance
Equipped with an eight-speed automated gearbox, the RX has a 3.5L V6 engine producing 295 horsepower and 267 pound-feet of torque. Although all RX models in Canada have all-wheel drive, the American market only gets a front-wheel drive variant.
Normally, the system directs power to the front wheels, but it may switch to the back wheels to increase traction if necessary. Locking it in at moderate speeds is another option for those tricky circumstances, like a snowed-in driveway.
The power numbers you provided are appropriate. If you need more power while overtaking on the highway or are just standing there, you may use the linear and smooth acceleration. It may not have breathtaking acceleration, but it gets the job done in a whisper and with pinpoint precision, and the gearshifts are as smooth as silk.
I like that the RX continues to use a naturally aspirated powertrain, even though many manufacturers are opting for smaller turbocharged engines to propel larger vehicles. When considering ownership over the long haul, I lean toward it because of how straightforward it is. 2027 Lexus RX MSRP

According to NRCan, the RX gets 12.2 L/100 km in city driving, 9.0 L/100 km on the highway, and 10.8 L/100 km when combined. Over the course of a week, using regular-grade gas, I managed 11.1 L/100 km on average.
The numbers are better than those of an Acura MDX, Porsche Macan, or Buick Enclave, but they are a little higher than those of a BMW X3 or Audi Q5, which are about equivalent. The combined fuel economy of the RX 450h hybrid is 7.9 L/100 km, however it comes at a higher price than the standard RX model.

Equipped as standard on every new RX is the backup camera, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, automatic high-beam headlamps, and emergency front brakes with pedestrian and cyclist recognition.
